The Regent South Beach, Miami beach, Flordia launches The Regent Pocket Butler, providing guests access to anything, anywhere, at any time
Direct-Dial Phones Connect Guests to Key Dedicated Staff from Anywhere in S. Florida The Regent South Beach, scheduled to open in November 2006, has just announced the Regent Pocket Butler, or RPB, for its penthouse & VIP guests, a first-of-its-kind offering that assures guests one of the greatest luxuries in South Beach: spontaneity.
RPB is a miniature cell phone, approximately the size of a credit card and small enough to loop onto a keychain, with only four buttons, each of which connects guests with a different Regent South Beach liaison. From anywhere in South Florida, guests can connect immediately with: their personal 24-hour butler, chauffeurs for the Mercedes-Benz® S550 sedan house cars, the hotel concierge and the hotel's guest services liaison. RPB will be available to all guests of the Regent South Beach's 27 penthouse suites at check-in. For those traveling in pairs, a second RPB unit will be available.
Frank Fuentes, director of sales and marketing for the Regent South Beach, sees the RPB as a natural extension of the hotel's high standard of service, coupled with South Beach's lively atmosphere. "We want to be able to provide our guests the most personalized service imaginable," Fuentes said. "With the RPB service, guests will be able to make dinner reservations from their beach chair, request that the house car be waiting for them as soon as dinner ends, or call their personal butler to prep their rooftop terrace for personal entertaining. RPB makes the wait for services disappear. The Regent Pocket Butler keeps our service staff at our guests' fingertips anywhere in South Florida. All they need is to press a button and we'll make it happen."
The Regent South Beach's other noteworthy features include: a stylish glass-panel pool with mosaic waterfalls; Mercedes-Benz® S550 sedan house cars; South Beach-inspired spa treatments such as "Hot Tub Detox" and "Body Shots"; penthouse-dedicated 24-hour butler service; elaborate en-suite dining and entertaining menus; and signature food and beverage venues Table 8 South Beach and Table 8 Lounge, serving market-fresh cuisine. The Regent South Beach also is the only new-build hotel in Miami's historic Art Deco District, designed by world-renowned architects Arquitectonica with interiors by Lynn Wilson Associates.
Staying true to the Regent brand by offering personalized luxury experiences and locally inspired designs, the Regent South Beach combines a modern Art Deco design and dynamic ambiance with the refinement of Regent Luxury Brand standards. Suites are filled with lavish furnishings, Bose® Surround Sound Stereo Systems, and Nespresso® espresso machines. Balconies (a South Beach rarity) measure a minimum 200 square feet and climb to an expansive 700 feet on the 27 penthouse rooftop terraces. Each individual rooftop terrace is outfitted with a Roman hot tub; wet bar; stereo system; retractable roof; facilities for sunning, dining, entertaining and spa treatments; and ocean or city views.
The Regent Experience represents luxury for all the senses - providing legendary service and local authenticity while anticipating needs and preferences - to make lasting impressions for each guest.
